This event space is the perfect Winston Salem wedding venue for an intimate, community-centered celebration. Bri and Kasey’s amazing wedding day took us from romantic rooftop portraits to a joyful ceremony and reception at this local favorite.

Footnote is part of Foothills Brewing. It’s located in the same building as Bookmarks, so you can grab a book to enjoy with your brew when you drop in. The interior is very minimalist and industrial with large brick walls and dark ceilings. Stings of lights bring warmth to the space.

Bri and Kasey’s Community-centered Celebration

Bri and Kasey’s Winston Salem wedding was the perfect mix of sneaking away for moments alone and celebrating the incredible community they’ve built. We started the day at The Ginger Birdie, my photography studio downtown. First we focused on more modern, editorial portraits before heading into the city for candid romantic moments.

At Footnote, Bri and Kasey walked each other up the aisle for a tender ceremony. Their guests made sure that the reception was a nonstop dance party. From the hilarious speeches to the energetic dance floor, the night was truly unforgettable. I love that these photos show the variety of breathtaking emotions on their wedding day.
